BURIED ABOVE GROUND is a documentary film that interweaves the unforgettable stories of a veteran home from Iraq, a Hurricane Katrina survivor, and a woman who endured child abuse, domestic violence and rape, all battling the symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
PTSD is a potentially devastating anxiety disorder that develops after exposure to a serious traumatic event such as a combat, rape, domestic assault, terrorist attack, bombing, or natural disaster.
